In December 2024, Deakin University announced the planned closure of OCPH as of 20 January 2025. Following this date, we are pleased to share that many of these services have transitioned to an independent structure under Healthcare Communication Collective.

Under this new structure, we are committed to ensuring continuity in the services we’ve provided. Moving to a private model allows us to maintain the quality and focus you’ve come to expect, while creating new opportunities for collaboration aligned with our mission and values.

What This Means for You

As of 20 January 2025, many of OCPH’s service will be transitioned to Healthcare Communication Collective under the leadership of Meg Chiswell. This independent model allows our valued services to continue without disruption.

Continuity of Service

All existing bookings and scheduled workshops will proceed as planned, with no interruptions.

Updated Financial Information

As we work through our new agreements, you will receive updated financial and contact details to amend your records in line with the new independent structure.

A New Look

Going forward, communications, materials, and invoices will reflect the refreshed branding of Healthcare Communication Collective.  Our commitment to quality and safety remains as strong as ever.
