From humble beginnings, the Healthcare Communication Collective has evolved into a dynamic network committed to transforming healthcare outcomes through skilled communication. We are at the forefront of translating cutting-edge research into practical solutions that improve patient care, enhance healthcare systems, and empower person-centred partnerships in care.

Starting out as the Centre for Organisational Change in Person-Centred Healthcare (OCPH) at Deakin University, we rapidly expanded our networks to over 65 partner organisations across Australia and the world. Today, with over 6,000 health professionals having undertaken our training, the impact of our work speaks for itself.

We specialise in translating established, evidence-based frameworks into everyday practice. Whether you are new to the profession, or at the peak of your career, we can equip you with the tools to confidently navigate complex care environments. Our evidence-based, tailored interventions have improved outcomes in hospitals, health services, and organisations across Australia. By integrating frontline clinicians, staff, and consumers, we ensure that our approach is both comprehensive and person-centred.

In our increasingly complex healthcare landscape, a skilled conversation is now one of the most critical clinical interventions, forming the foundation for all effective care outcomes.

We invite you to join us in transforming the healthcare experience, one conversation at a time.
